Hello Fabio. Been trying to adopt your EFI for my computer for a day already with no success. Could you please help me with that? I really like clover, it's been always easy in a past and I hoped that it is still be like that but can't figured what cause hang during installation. All bios settings as it should and I removed TB aml from EFI since I don't have it on my motherboard. rest should be same I think but still not working out.

@shrishapost a your working EFi with OpenCore please

Thank you! I decide to go clover because my system just stoped booting with opencore around two weeks ago with no reason. That one what I'm attaching was last one to work and stopped working.

Thank you Fabio,

Ok I tried your EFI and here is a log file. It is boot into installation and I was looking installation log, after approx 40% on "syncing packages to disk" it is doing something more and reboot. I will try to take picture now.

no need of your DSDT

TRX40 works without using it

only a SSDT could be useful

We must to transform all skip 0 inside yellow square to skip 1

I will send you a config in few minutes

you don't have to change then anything in your bios

because MMIO are bios parameters dependant

use this

in boot menu press space bar then Reset NVRAM

then try to boot

config.plist.zip

post where it hangs

Are you installing with a full installer USB?

or in which way?

Which OS?

I have inserted patches from High Sierra to Monterey so it is not your problem

In your bios have you 4g enabled?

if no enable it and then re post debug log

With last config OC not boot at all. See error in attachment. With and without 4G enabled in BIOS.

I created bootable USB drive with Monterely 12.2.1 from Olarila website. All recommanded settings in BIOS like sata - AHCI, 4G disabled etc from dortania guide. Re-size BAR is disabled as well.

Should I try different USB drive? This also can cause a problem? Or USB 2 port?

this is a problem 😛

try to create an USB with vanilla method

problem you have now is a wrong NVRAM malfunction

usually it is possible to solve powering off your system

leave 4g On and try to boot fine again

then post debug txt to check MMIO list

hi @shrisha

you have to start with a bios settings

then with an Opencore debug versionn you discover your MMIO list

and you have to declare it in config as we did

then If you change something in BIOS as 4G or Resize bar you have to check your debug again to see if first MMIO are changed

it is better to use a vanilla method because our trx40 are pretty simple now to configure and we not need weird kext ingestion 🙂

I would also suggest you to update to latest your Motherboard bios to have latest agesa available for TRX40 AMD chipset

@fabiosun Ok I did everything, Updated BIOS to the latest. Bios settings. Vanilla installer from apple store on real MAC. And now with latest config from you it's hung in very beginning of booting. And I think I know what problem was before. Virtualization was enabled. Now I have 4g enabled resize-BAR AUTO and Virtualization disabled.
