hi all,

i have a Dell Inspiron 7567 gaming laptop, and have googled for Hackintosh guides on it, and all i've found are pre-made github EFI files and other forums with really old posts with outdated info. No useful or helpful info on how to configure OpenCore or clover. My hardware is kabylake quadcore i5 7300HQ, dw1560 wifi card (replaced stock intel wifi), Nvidia GTX 1050 notebook (optimus NOT supported), intel hd 630 (NOT UHD), 500gb NVME ssd (forgot the brand), 1tb Hybrid HDD/SSD seagate, 24gb of ddr4 ram. If anyone can please help me configure OpenCore for it that'd be great and i only have windows 10 on it currently and no MacOS anywhere nor a friend or family member who owns a mac NOR do i own one.

Hi, I'm a Dell G3 owner. If I were you I'd start with Clover. It's much easier to set up. Once you have a running system with Clover, you can migrate to OpenCore.

These are the kexts i use on my Dell:

You can read the guide for my laptop. Use Google Translate. https://www.macos86.it/topic/1435-dell-g3-357937793590/

Be careful: MacBookPro14,2 or MacBookPro14,3 is a more suited SMBIOS for your laptop.

In Device Properties/AAPL,ig-platform-id use a Kaby Lake platform-id. I would start with 00001B59.
